Juventus confirmed pay cut
Juventus' players and their manager Maurizio Sarri have agreed to their pay cut for four months. An estimated amount of 90m euros (£80.7m) during the coronavirus pandemic would save the club.
Italy has suspended all sport until at least 3rd of April. The Juventus team, which includes Cristiano Ronaldo and Aaron Ramsey, won´t be paid their full salaries from March till June which will significantly help to get through the pandemic pressure.
The club has a good faith the situation will get well soon as this is the hardest hit by coronavirus in Europe.
The statement of the club said, "Juventus would like to thank all the players and the coach for their commitment at this difficult time."
The agreement comes one day after Spanish club Atletico Madrid took the decision to cut the wages of their staff, including the players.
Europeans clubs such Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund has made the same decision earlier this week.
